What
These are private, hands on, in person trainings, where you’ll learn to work with flash gear, camera settings, and live lighting setups. Sessions are structured, with support to troubleshoot and refine as we go.

Choose Your Environment
STUDIO BASED
Controlled lighting in a professional setting, with clean, uninterrupted space. Ideal for photographers wanting to step into studio photography and build a solid foundation with strobes and modifiers.
Studio hire required and included in pricing.
ON LOCATION
Learn how to use flash outdoors or in real life spaces (e.g homes, venues). Great for wedding, lifestyle, or branding photographers who want flexibility and adaptability in realistic settings.
Location hire essential or client to provide space. Difficult environments (crowded parks, tight spaces) are not suitable.
Choose Your Session Length
HALF DAY
Covers 1 foundational setup, theory basics, real-time application, and lighting variations using one light source.
FULL DAY
Everything from half day + additional light setup, and more time to personalise or try creative techniques tailored to you.
Model Requirements
All sessions require a subject for hands on practice. You can bring a friend or colleague (no experience necessary), or we can organise a model for you as an added option. The person sitting must be comfortable being photographed in a learning environment with minimal posing needs.

Theory intro covering lighting foundations and equipment.
Step by step guidance of 1 foundational lighting setup.
Practical variations of core setup (soft/hard lighting, reflector usage).
Hands on guidance and personalised Q & A's.
Light refreshments.
Post session summary with setup guide and recommendations.

Full Day Intensive (7 hours)
Everything from half day +
Inclusions:
Additional two-light setup or technique of choice.
Extended time for personalised guidance and assistance.
Expanded Q&A support and personalised lighting planning advice.

Post-session follow-up with tailored notes, diagrams, and recommendations
